Fairbanks, we are opening up another round of funding for our Young Leaders! Our grant application is now open *exclusively to children and teens in the Fairbanks North Star Borough! With an incredibly generous donation from Spin For A Cause, Our 2 Cents Fairbanks will be awarding Fairbanks children $2,000 each to complete a community project of their own! Spin For A Cause, F&H Fitness and Our 2 Cents feel passionately about empowering our local youth to get excited about leadership, service, and community - and we can't wait to work with 5 young Fairbanksans to help them improve our community!

The Grants For Young Leaders Program is open to children 5 years old - 17 years old who reside in the FNSB.

How Grants For Young Leaders Will Work!

Step 1 - Submit your grant application(below!), explaining how you would like to spend your $2,000 dollar grant and why your project is important to you and to Fairbanks.

Step 2 - If your grant application is approved, you will be invited to participate in an online orientation with local Fairbanks leaders to talk about leadership and service!

Step 3 - Then we'll get to work! Spin For A Cause's wonderful donation will start each child's fundraising project at $2,000! Our 2 Cents Fairbanks will help each child to raise additional funds.

Step 4 - Our 2 Cents will facilitate the purchase of any materials/goods/services etc. and help to deliver + document the project's successful completion!

While all of our local nonprofits greatly need and appreciate cash donations, one purpose of this project is to actively engage youth and teens in service.
