Filmmaking, Photography & Digital Media Summer Camp for Teens

Calling all teen content creators! This is a FREE summer camp for teens (Age 14-17) in Fairbanks, AK sponsored by the Fairbanks Wellness Coalition! Students will learn to produce short form videos, the basics of shooting photography in manual mode and fundamentals of design. An emphasis will be on content creation that is intentional and has a positive peer to peer influence. This is an excellent opportunity for teens to gain marketable skills while engaging with each other and their community.

When: June 20 - June 24, 2022, Noon - 5pm, lunch will be provided daily.

Where: JP Community Center, Ballroom (upstairs)

Max enrollment: 30 students

More Camp Info: Introduction to equipment such as lights, cameras and computer editing software - students will need a smartphone, laptop or tablet to participate. Rentals will be made available for students who do not have required equipment. Coursework includes storyboarding, directing, videography, editing, photography and digital media design.
