They raised $503.75 to purchase books for their fellow Fairbanks children that day! And thank you to Friar Tucks Hoagie House for letting O2C park our Cocoa Care-a-VAN outside!”
We believe there are few things more important than investing in the overall health of the children in our community. And one way to enrich the lives of children is encouraging literacy and a lifelong love for reading. That is what our Fairbanks Book Flood is all about! And in December 2019, thanks to our awesome 02C donors and thanks to an incredible dollar for dollar match from Enchanted Forest Toys, we were able to gift hundreds of children with $5,341 worth of beautiful, heirloom quality fiction and non fiction books. It is our hope these books delivered joy and wonder and the love of reading to all of these beautiful kids!
